Founded in 1984, Adolini Studio develops projects in the fields of architecture, product design, interior design, and graphic design. The studio is notable for its architectural works, as well as monument restorations, renovation projects for industrial facilities and private residences. They have also undertaken interior design projects for exhibition stands, museum layouts, homes, and showrooms.
In the field of industrial design, Adolini Studio has been collaborating with leading Italian companies in the bathroom furniture and sanitary ware sector since 2000. During this time, it provides support in areas such as graphic design, communication, exhibition design, and packaging design, and also acts as art director for some brands. The studio has won international awards in recent years.
Romano Adolini
Born in Nepi (VT) in 1956, Romano Adolini graduated from the Department of Architecture at Sapienza University of Rome in 1982 and established his own studio. During the 1990s, he achieved successful collaborations in industrial design with leading brands in the sanitary ware sector while continuing his architectural work. From 2011 to 2016, he served as a professor of industrial design at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ferrara.
Niccolò Adolini
Born in Rome in 1987, Niccolò Adolini studied at the Mendrisio University of Architecture (Switzerland) and graduated from the European Design Institute (IED) in Rome in 2011. After a year-long apprenticeship at Dordoni Studio in Milan, he took charge of the product design department at Adolini Studio. Since 2016, he has been a professor of product design at IED in Rome and at Sichuan Normal University in Chengdu, China. In 2018, he began working as a consultant for the Lazio Industrial Design Association, and as of 2021, he holds the position of vice president of this association.
